Thursday right after Lolo's burial, me and the fam went straight to Duka Bay Resort in Medina, Misamis Oriental so that we can unwind about Lolo's death.

first day on our trip, this pretty girl is my niece Sophie.

second day, me and my sister was bored so we decided

to strike some pose everywhere in the resort. LOL

me getting FAT!

we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at VILLA ALMA,

thought Duka Bay Resort is a white sand beach.. well, unfortunately NOT!

but its alright at least our stay was all free!!! thanks to my Aunt's cousin who owns the Resort! :)

Ibajay and Nabas, Aklan Escapade

Ibajay had their Festival 4th Sunday of the month of January...

for the honor of Sto. Niño.

They have the same practice like Kalibo, Aklan..

after the ati-atihan in Ibajay we went to:

located before the town of Malay and Barunga Peninsula

at the northwest tip of Panay Island.

Ati-Atihan Festival (Kalibo, Aklan)

The Ati-Atihan

held every January in the town of Kalibo in the province of Aklan on the island of Panay, is the wildest among Philippine fiestas.

Celebrants paint their faces with black soot and wear bright, outlandish costumes as they dance in revelry during the last three days of this week-long festival.

The Ati-Atihan, a feast in honor of the Santo Niño, is celebrated on the second Sunday after Epiphany.

around 2pm the street dancing began :D

even if they're dancing, when we asked them if its okay to take pics

they would stop and yes! strike a pose with us! <3

because of this devotee suddenly i remember my grandmom! :">

it was our first time to celebrate in a very festive place!

( 5 servings )

coffee powder instant - 3 tsp

milk -5 cups

sugar - 5 tsp

ice cubes

Take a bowl add coffee powder add hot water mix well.

milk

ice cubes

sugar

Take a blender add ice cubes, coffee mixture, milk and blend it

finished product

Pour it in a glass

and if you like add ice cream on top or sprinkle coffee powder or grate cholate.

watched Rio today with my friends.

it was a funny movie,

but i was a bit frustrated cause the ending part

was so predictable.

if i were to rate this movie

i'll rate it 9 out of 10 :D

yesterday was just an ordinary day for me. stayed at home for the whole day. spent my afternoon with my kitty at our roof, we enjoy each other's company a lot. :)

this is Maduri. the youngest. i love her much, she always follows me where ever i go. lol. funny cat. she likes to bite my fingers every time she's sleepy. :)
